Our 11+ creative writing tuition is designed to nurture a passion for story telling. We teach students how to write imaginative stories which score well in exams without reducing creative writing to a box ticking exercise.

Year group: Year 4, 5 & 6 (KS2)

Students will learn:

  • How to write engaging description with a little narrative.
  • How to write well-structure and persuasive essays.

Students learn how to read mark schemes, comment on the effects of writers’ methods, plan and structure lit essays, stories and transactional pieces.

In our classes, KS3 students learn to analyze texts in context, allowing them to respond thoughtfully to diverse genres. As they enrich their vocabulary and build confidence, students prepare for the GCSE English challenges and foster a deep appreciation for language.
